Amber Rose poses for Paper Magazine in a spread replicating iconic feminist figures in history:

Amber told Paper, ‘I would look on [Wiz’s] Instagram and he would have pictures of all these women all over him. And then I would post a picture of me and my son. And people would be like, ‘Does your son know that his mother’s a whore?’

This type of double standard IG thugging drove Amber to create the Slut Walk to bring awareness to women and their right to be sexually expressive without being labeled and shamed.

We were all here for Muva and her ‘gives no fucks’ approach to what people thought of her,  until she recently made comments expressing that women should use their powers to seduce men for money.

Those sentiments would not accurately reflect the views of the women she’s representing in this spread: Gloria Steinem, Susan B. Anthony, Dorothy Pitman Hughes and, of course, Rosie the Riveter.

As a woman who has freed herself from patriarchy by acquiring her own source of revenue, we thought she would have a little more positive message to send to women who are seeking their own success.

While we agree every wave of this moment has a different approach, flavor, and style due to the ever changing times, we aren’t convinced Amber Rose is the best representation of it anymore.

What do you beauties think?
