Good genes don’t fall far from the tree. And with a multiple Grammy award-winning mother and iconic rap star father as parents, Blue Ivy is destined for greatness.

The 4-year-old performed with some of her classmates in a recital, to the music of “You Can’t Stop The Beat” from Hairspray. As noted by the post on The Shade Room, the dance was partially choreographed by little miss Carter. Sweet as ever, the girls shake their tutus and run in place for the performance.

In March, the Los Angeles school had Blue’s mother Beyoncé perform for their 75th annual grand gala fundraiser. Queen Bey sang her biggest hits and truly had the crowd excited for the intimate show.

“A #mom performing at her kid’s #school fundraiser,” one parent said on Instagram with a video of Bey singing “Crazy in Love”. “#Beyonce at the school gala. No words. #beyonce @beyonce THANK YOU.”

The couple allegedly took a good amount of time to find the right school for their daughter, choosing to settle on the West Coast. While Jay Z missed the recital to perform for Biggie’s birthday, we’re sure her parents are proud of their star.

On Friday, Jay Z performed at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the Bad Boy Family Reunion Concert. It was his first performance in over a year. Meanwhile, his wife is currently on her Formation World Tour with her last stop being in Alberta, Canada on Friday.
