There’s been no shortage of drama surrounding the abrupt exit of Tamar Braxton from popular daytime talk show The Real. The latest rumor stemming from it all is that 22-year old actress, singer and TV personality Keke Palmer is in the running to take over Tamar’s spot among the panel of hosts.

Inside sources told Bossip the show already has plans to fill Braxton’s slot, and the odds are highly stacked in Keke’s favor. The show’s executive producer Rachel Miskowiec reportedly has a good relationship with Keke and thinks she’ll be a perfect fit.

“The person who’s going to replace Tamar is Keke Palmer,” says the source. “Rachel produced the pilot for Telepictures with Keke Palmer last summer. She likes Keke and Keke of course wants to do another talk show. She’s on the fast track to being in that role.”

Rumors that Keke Palmer could soon be sitting in Tamar’s seat on The Real come just days after The Jasmine Brand reported exclusively that Warner Bros. had “not determined” if they would replace Braxton on the series or if the show would move on with the remaining co-hosts Tamara, Adrienne, Jeannie, and Loni, who are all completely blindsided by Tamar’s departure.

Oh, and about that cryptic instagram caption where Tamar references a close cohort who stabbed her in the back: rumor has it that the person in question is the show’s executive producer. Inside sources say “… [Rachel] is the person who is behind Tamar getting fired. She is who Tamar was talking about.”

Tamar herself has yet to speak on what really went down. But mark your calendars, because she will address it in an upcoming episode of ‘Braxton Family Values’.
