Joint Base Andrews is currently under lockdown after reports surfaced of a active shooter at the Malcolm Grow Medical Facility. According to the JBA official Twitter account The base was placed on lockdown around 9am.
According to news reports recently there was an shooter training” exercise on the base scheduled for today but reports of a real-world situation was reported. Also NBC Washington reports Vice President Joe Biden was scheduled to fly out of JBA this morning.
