Good news for students in Maryland looking to extend their summer break next year! Gov. Larry Hogan has ordered schools to open after labor day. Now students may be rejoicing, but Gov. Hogan’s constituents are in a slight uproar about the Governor not bringing this idea to the General Assembly first and question his authority to mandate such an order.
