Little Bacon Bear

Originally hailing from Topeka, Kansas, Little Bacon Bear--as she’s known to her tens of thousands of fans and listeners online--began her DJ career after moving to Maryland in 2012, and hasn’t looked back. Since then, she’s become one of the DMV’s most coveted young DJs, known for being at the forefront of music, nightlife, and culture. Bacon Bear is ubiquitous in DC’s entertainment scene, has spun for brands like Essence and BET, while outside of WKYS. She’s a self taught traditionalist, and despite being one of radio’s freshest faces, she wants to use her platform for more. One of her biggest goals as a DJ and multi-faceted on-air personality is being a beacon of success for other women in the music industry, and changing the public face of terrestrial radio in the eyes of artists, DJs, and fans. She’s dedicated to bridging the gap between radio and listeners, and giving artists a meaningful spotlight to tell their stories. “Fans deserve a genuine look into the lives of the artists they love, and I want to magnify that.”
