Black Lives Matter groups are joining forces with activists leading the charge for raising the minimum wage to $15 in an effort to fight for racial justice and economic equality.
The City Council is set to pass a law that will bring Baltimore’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2022. Baltimore’s wage increase would be almost $5 an hour higher than all the counties in the area. Maryland’s minimum wage will raise to $10.10 an hour by 2018 from the current $8.75 per hour. […]
