Chi-Ali served his time, and is back making music. The Native Tongue MC dropped a new song called “Games & Things” featuring fellow Bronx rapper Fat Joe. The former author of “Roadrunner” back in the early 90s sounds like he can hang with today’s crop of rappers as he rides a smooth R&B tinged groove courtesy of Statik Selektah with ease. ”Money and freedom, that’s a really nice combo, just dropped 250 on this duplex condo/Another 50 racks on a presidential wristwatch, and bumping Lupe cause I love Hip-Hop,” spits Chi-Ali.
Chi-Ali was released in August after serving a dozen years of a 14 year sentence for the shooting and killing Sean Raymond back in 2000. Check out the track below:
