The planet Saturn will turn retrograde on Tuesday, February 19th. You may recall that a retrograde planet gives the illusion of moving backwards in the sky, signaling a time for us to review certain events that have come to pass, and reassess our way forward. Saturn in Astrology tells us where we face some of our biggest challenges in life. It’s a “tough love” kind of energy that can make situations difficult to resolve, leaving us no choice but to address our insecurities. As Saturn turns in reverse motion, each sign of the Zodiac will have to reexamine those fears brought to the surface as a result. The experience will vary for all of us, but there will be a common theme of overcoming that which restricts our personal growth. Saturn now moving through the sign of Scorpio is significant; whatever comes up for review may be of psychological depth requiring thorough investigation. We must be willing, then, to investigate if we are to learn the lessons of Saturn and progress towards a life of discipline and abundance.
