The Senegalese R&B, hip-hop singer Akon (pictured) is being sued by a former concert worker, Matthew Graham, for allegedly diving in to the crowd at a 2009 performance and landing on him, which allegedly resulted in Graham being permanently crippled, reports TMZ.

Graham claims that when he was working at the BayFest music festival in Alabama three years ago, 39-year-old Akon leaped in to the crowd of concert goers, landing directly on him which caused an innumerable amount of permanent injuries.
Even though Graham is, according to TMZ, refusing to list all of the injuries that were reportedly caused by Akon’s impact, he did tell the site that he has permanent knee, back, head, and body disabilities.

Although no dollar amount has been released, Graham is looking to recoup for medical expenses, lost wages, physical pain, and mental anguish. He is also naming BayFest Inc. in the lawsuit.
Ironically, back in 2007, the oft-troubled Akon was performing at a Fishkill, N.Y., event, KFEST, when someone in the crowd threw an object at him while he was on stage. Akon gave orders to security to pluck the young male concert-goer from the audience and direct him to the stage, where he was then literally hurled back in to the crowd by the performer. The fan-tossing episode prompted a police investigation and Akon was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment.
