Today WKYS personalities will join the Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative for their 14th Annual Community Conference. The conference will be held at the A. Kiger Savoy School, 2400 Shannon Place SE, Washington, DC. 20020 from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.
The conference will offer a variety of health screenings, information on Government programs and services, resources provided by community based organizations, and several workshops offering continuing education units for college credits. The event is free and open to the public and will include free food, free child care, raffles, prizes, and live entertainment. Special guest include D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray, Washington Washington Football Team Josh Morgan, and DMV Recording Artist Reesa Renee.
