No ma’am , no sir, you are not reading things, yes a man in Zimbabwe rose from the dead in the middle of his funeral. Can you imagine being at someone’s funeral and they just hop up out the box?
Brighton Dama Zanthe was said to have succumbed to long fight with an illness but decided not to die just yet and woke up at his own funeral. The 34 year old was said to have been pronounced dead at his home as he lay on life support a few days prior to his home going service, and then going through normal death routines which he cannot recall. It was then said that as the end of his funeral ceremony ended, mourners started to noticed movement in his arms and legs. Many mourners ran away in disbelief, his boss called an ambulance to come and check this situation out and come to discover, Zanthe was perfectly fine and woke up with no recollection of the ordeal, just in time before the burial.
“This issue can be best told by people who came to my house to attend my funeral. I don’t know what happened and I only remember being on a life support system in the hospital,” he said. “Everything is history to me. What I can only confirm is that people gathered at my house to mourn but I was given another chance and I am alive. I feel okay now.”
