The climate of the music industry has changed drastically after artists are proving world wide that the internet is all the promotion they need. One of the pioneers of this new way of handling the music business is Mac Miller. Miller already announced that he would like to release 4 albums in 2014 and apparently he won’t be doing so under Rostrum Records.

“Rostrum is my family. That is forever,” Miller said in an exclusive joint statement issued to MTV News on Tuesday (January 14). “No matter what, we will always work together. We moved mountains and I can only see them continuing that tradition. I am grateful for everything I learned and am always here for whatever.”
