Tonight is the night that we are once again graced with the presence of Huey, Riley, and Granddad Freeman!
Since the first season aired in 2005, I have been a fan of the Adult Swim show, ‘The Boondocks’. The show was created by Aaron McGruder, and has been on hiatus since its third season in 2010. After the airing of the last show in the third season, there was big talk about an Uncle Ruckus spin off show, and even a Boondocks movie. None of those predictions happened, but one thing that did was a fourth season!
At 10:30 PM tonight, many fans of the brash cartoon, will be tuned in to see the first episode of the fourth season. Different from the previous three because the genius of Aaron McGruder will not be included. After having a strong hand in the controversial, and socially generated episodes, he decided to take a step back and work on another project. His leave came after a disagreement about a production schedule for the show.
Now even though the creator of ‘The Boondocks’ is not apart of the fourth season, the laughs and wittiness of the show is still present. Below is the fourth season trailer. From the looks of the trailer, I am excited to see the new season, and I personally feel that the show will be equally as great as the other seasons, even with the absence of McGruder.
