In light of Justin Bieber’s recent video leak of him saying racist slurs disguised as “jokes” his friends have begun to chime in. Floyd Mayweather was one of the first to reach out to the public to defend his longtime friend, as reported by TMZ. In a picture of the two of them Mayweather captioned, “Justin has been nothing but kind to me, my daughters and sons over the years,” he also adds “We all make mistakes when we are young, its apart of growing up”.

Soulja Boy also put his two cents in on the issue, telling TMZ that JB shouldn’t be held accountable for something he said at 15. He also states that him and Bieber are still friends and people shouldn’t think he’s racist because he isn’t.

Justin has since apologized for what he said on the video saying, “Five years ago I made a reckless and immature mistake and I’m grateful to those close to me who helped me learn those lessons as a young man.”
