Janice Dickinson has resurfaced with her claims against Bill Cosby and is filing a defamation suit against the comedian and his camp, USA Today reports.

The former model and America’s Next Top Model judge filed the suit in Los Angeles Wednesday with her lawyer Lisa Bloom, the daughter of famed attorney Gloria Allred.

Dickinson, 60, is claiming defamation, false light, and infliction of emotional distress after Cosby’s Hollywood lawyer Martin Singer called her a liar as she tearfully claimed she was drugged and raped by Cosby in 1982. Presenting a photo of her in a robe in his hotel room, Dickinson told Entertainment Tonight about the incident last year and explained she was hesitant to talk about it because of her past troubles with alcohol and substance abuse.

“The suit claims Cosby and his legal team damaged her reputation by putting her in a “false light” in public, and that she is the victim of “intentional infliction of emotional distress,” the report states.

Since the statute of limitation has expired for Dickinson’s case, she has decided to sue in civil court. She’s also seeking damages for emotional distress over Singer’s claims.

Cosby has denied all charges of sexual assault (of which there have been many), but he hasn’t released a statement about Dickinson’s civil suit as of yet.
