The Alexander Wang runway show during New York Fashion Week was a star studded event, held at Saint Bartholomew’s Church.
The show, as the show notes explained, “deliberately opposes standard definitions of beauty and taste.” Wang mixed tony tweed with metal-pierced leather and even glamorized prison garb.
Rock music played in the background while Wang’s girls strutted down the runway. Since the designer’s departure from Balenciaga, all eyes have been on him and this collection proves he’s been using his time wisely. Wang payed homage to the rock chic style, having his models dripping in silver chains and mohair beanies.
Kylie Jenner was spotted over the weekend cuddling up with Tyga as she kept is causal and cool, rocking a major side pony tail, while Tyga opted to rock his platinum blonde waves.
Also spotted in the audience was Solange Knowles, Zoe Kravitz, and Amandla Stanberg.
