With New York Fashion Week coming to a close, our Instagram feeds have been blowing up with the newest collections from our favorite designers, beauty trends for Spring, and of course some MAJOR trolling. And by major, we mean someone done lost their damn minds!
On Wednesday night, MAC uploaded a photo to their Instagram of an OHNE TITEL model while backstage at the premiere of their fall line. The photo is a close-up of a Black model’s lips accentuated by a deep purple lipstick.
While we commend MAC for highlighting one of the many features that adds to a Black woman’s magic, there were a number of Internet trolls who spewed hate and showed their ignorance ass.
One user wrote under MAC’s post, “Holy shit I thought this was Jay Z.” Whereas others were bold enough to even use the term “n*gga lips” to describe the photo.
WAYMENT. So, a Black woman’s NATURAL features such as full lips are considerably ugly but you’re pressed to look like Kylie Jenner?
