Kanye West’s “The Life Of Pablo” Album Won’t Chart On Billboard

Damn, Kanye.
Kanye’s revered The Life Of Pablo album won’t make any special appearances on the Billboard 200 anytime soon. According to a New York Times report, TIDAL hasn’t shared any official numbers regarding the album’s stream.
The LP is exclusively available on TIDAL, and Kanye made it clear he wasn’t going to put his star-studded project on any other platform, including Apple’s iTunes.

Well, it looks like his decision may cost him Billboard recognition.
The VP of Billboard’s charts and data development, Silvio Pietroluongo, released a statement regarding the chart status of T.L.O.P.
“Billboard has been informed that TIDAL is not currently reporting streams for tracks on Kanye’s album to Nielsen Music,” he said. “Therefore streams from TIDAL for this title will not contribute to Billboard’s chart rankings at this time.”
Kanye is allegedly working on a deluxe edition of T.L.O.P., which will feature perfected versions of the LP’s tracklist, so maybe that album will be available on various music platforms. Stay tuned.
