Washington Reportedly Releases Robert Griffin III

According to reports the foregone conclusion is official. News reports are circulating that Washington has officially released Quarterback Robert Griffin III, thus ending his once promising career with the team.
Griffin, the Number 2 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft led Washington to the playoffs and won Offensive Rookie of the Year. His career was never the same after injuring his ACL and MCL in their playoff loss against the Seattle Seahawks in the same season. After conflicts with former head coach Mike Shanahan and current coach Jay Gruden, we knew that his time was limited with the team nut now it’s official.
Numerous NFL teams are looking to secure the services of the QB but as a backup or potential starter is unknown.
