“Finding Dory” May Include Disney’s First Lesbian Couple
Pixar’s Finding Dory hits theaters this summer and it is breaking ground in animated films.
The newest trailer for the upcoming film was released last week and shows what looks like two moms standing over a baby in a stroller, hinting at Disney Pixar’s first lesbian couple.
The news comes just after of an online campaign calling for more LGBT leads in movies such as Disney’s “Frozen.” The exciting trailer to the Finding Nemo follow-up was debuted last week by the film’s star Ellen Degeneres on her daytime talk show.
Finding Dory hits theaters June 17. Check out the trailer above.
