NeNe Leakes Is In Trouble With The IRS
NeNe Leakes has some explaining to do.
The IRS claims that the self proclaimed “very rich” reality star owes them $824,366.01 in back taxes from 2014. A lien was handed down in a Georgia court back in July and if NeNe doesn’t pay, the IRS can start seizing her assets and property in order to settle the debt.
Ironically, 2014 was a good year for Leakes. Along with being the highest paid star on RHOA, that year she also competed on Dancing with the Stars and launched the NeNe Leakes Collection on the Home Shopping Network.
NeNe is not the first Atlanta Housewife to owe the IRS. Sheree Whitfield and Kim Fields may be able to give her some advice.
