Killer Mike and El-P have released a new Run the Jewels song in the wake of Trump’s election. The song features Jordan Asher aka Boots, who can also be heard on Run the Jewels 2.
“For our friends. For our family. For everyone who is hurting or scared right now,” the duo said in an accompanying note. “Its about fear and its about love and its about wanting more for all of us.”
The song opens up with Killer Mike questioning “How long before the hate that we hold lead us to another Holocaust?” El-P later raps, “Love will survive.”

While the duo wasn’t originally planning to release the song right now, they explain on their Soundcloud page that “it feels right.”
Run the Jewels 3 is forthcoming. The duo released their single “Talk to Me” in October. “Panther Like A Panther (I’m The Sh*t),” is featured in Gears of War 4.
