Drew Sidora Shuts Down Rumors About Relationships With Ty Young
Actress and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora recently sat down with The Morning Hustle to clear the air on rumors surrounding her love life. While speculation has swirled about her relationships with both Dennis Porch’s baby mama and former WNBA player Ty Young, Sidora says people have it all wrong.
Addressing her friendship with Ty Young, Drew said the bond formed during a vulnerable time in her life — following her separation from her husband of 10 years. “I was going through what I was going through, we were separated,” she explained. “She was there, she was there… making me laugh. We were having a good time, and that was just a good friend to me at that time.”
Sidora opened up about the emotional toll her marriage breakdown took on her, sharing that she battled depression during the transition. “At one point, I did fall into what I would consider depression—just dark times. I could not function,” she revealed. “You gotta think about it. I was married for 10 years.”
Ty, according to Drew, was simply part of the strong support system that helped her stay afloat. “I had a great surrounding village — group of friends that were like, ‘We’re out, we’re gonna make sure you’re having a good time.’”
When asked directly about the rumors of a romantic relationship with Young, Drew firmly denied it. “That’s what that was — that,” she said.
Still, the actress remains open to the future. “You never know what might happen in life,” she added, making it clear that while she’s not currently in a relationship, her heart remains open to all forms of love.
