East London sensation and Billboard’s Rookie of the Month for March 2025, KWN, recently sat down with Lady Reddzz at 93.9 WKYS to dish all things music, creativity, and what’s next for the rising star. Unsurprisingly, the conversation was as electric as her chart-topping hits.

The Birth of #WorstBehaviour

Lady Reddzz kicked off the chat with what everyone is dying to know about KWN’s breakout single, Worst Behaviour. Written in the sanctity of her own bedroom, KWN described her creative haven as simple yet powerful, often influenced by melodies and lyrics that just hit. She confessed, “I knew when I was making it, it was going to be big—I could feel it.” Fans would agree, as the single has since become the anthem of many worldwide.

Of course, the conversation turned toward the now-iconic music video, featuring none other than Kehlani and that steamy kiss. It turns out, the idea was a spontaneous stroke of brilliance pitched by KWN herself. “I just knew we needed something that would elevate the video, and the kiss felt right,” KWN revealed. The bold move…well, it broke the internet.

Fresh Sounds with #DoWhatISay

Switching gears, KWN opened up about her latest single, Do What I Say. Born out of a creative rut, this track was her way of reigniting her passion, and the result has fans begging for more. With its catchy beat and laid-back vibe, it’s become yet another TikTok favorite, proving KWN’s undeniable versatility.

What’s Next? Big Moves & Bigger Names

Fans can look forward to KWN’s upcoming EP this summer, set to drop on June 20. According to KWN, the project will come in two parts, with the A-side featuring nine tracks, including a collaboration with the girl group FLO. And that’s just the start. She’s eyeing future collabs with the likes of Summer Walker and Ty Dolla $ign while teasing even more surprises for the B-side later this year.

For KWN, authenticity remains at the heart of her artistry. “What I’ve learned is that I can be myself, and people will accept it,” she said.
