Former NFL player and current NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp filed for Chapter 7 and not a chapter in his forthcoming book but we are talking bankruptcy! According to the AP he owes $6.7 million dollars, we are sure he wished he won the Mega Millions last week! Sapp filed in Florida where he resides. The former seven-time Pro-Bowler reportedly makes $115,000 a month but seems to spend his loot on frivolous things like lion skin rugs. This dude has Simba laying on his floor…aw…that ain’t right. Here is a list of his other assets some may make you give him the side-eye.
Sapp’s $6.45 million in assets includes 240 pairs of Jordan athletic shoes worth almost $6,500, a $2,250 watch and a lion skin rug worth $1,200. He also reported losing his 2002 Super Bowl ring with the Bucs and his 1991 national championship ring from the University of Miami.
Sapp has appeared on Dancing With The Stars and also serves as an analyst on Showtime’s Inside The NFL. He has recently caught flack for calling former New Orleans Saints Jeremy Shockey a “snitch” during the ‘bounty scandal‘ that has turned the NFL upside-down.
