(Annapolis, MD) — Maryland lawmakers will return to Annapolis on August 9th for a special legislative session on the expansion of gambling in the state. Governor O’Malley says adding a sixth casino and Las Vegas-style table games will bring needed jobs and revenue to Maryland. When lawmakers convene, they’ll be working out the details of the gaming expansion bill, creating a referendum which will then placed on the November ballot.
