Lottery Underway For White House Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
(Washington, DC) — An online lottery got underway yesterday morning for tickets to the 90th annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The ceremony, on the White House Ellipse, is scheduled for December 6th. The lottery will continue until 10 a.m. Monday, October 29th. Three-thousand seated tickets and 14-thousand standing room only tickets will be distributed. Winners will be notified by e-mail by November 1st. Go towww.thenationaltree.org to participate.
