L.A. Reid Reportedly Leaving “The X Factor”
So much for The X Factor finding a stable set of judges. The Hollywood Reporter claims that L.A. Reid will be leaving his post as a judge on the FOX talent show to focus on his day job. Yes, the publication claims that L.A. wants to focus on his own roster of would be stars over trying to create one from the show.
More:
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the reality TV judge will not be returning to the Fox series for season three. The Epic Records chairman will return to his full-time gig of running the Sony music label with plans to invest renewed energy and vigor into developing new and signed talent. Reid was the first judge hired by Simon Cowell for season one last year. He was also the only judge to survive a brutal bloodbath that saw fellow judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, as well as host Steve Jones, fired prior to season two.
Let the rumors about Diddy, Clive Davis, and other new judges begin now.
