Can you see it? I’m getting a vision, I like it. It works but what do you think?

VH1 has confirmed it’s cast to play the hit 90′s R&B Group, ‘TLC’ in an upcoming biopic.

hiphopwired.com reports:

The cast of the upcoming biopic about storied R&B trio TLC has been finalized. Keke Palmer, Lil Mama and Drew Sidora have been cast as to play the roles of Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, respectively.

Deadline reports that the name of the full-length TV movie will be called Crazy, S-xy, Cool: The TLC Story and air on VH1. The movie’s title incorporates the name of the Grammy Award winning group’s 1994 album CrazyS-xyCool.

“TLC are truly music pioneers and this movie is a fantastic way to expand our scripted push by combining our audience’s passion for music with their love of story,” said Jeff Olde, VH1′s EVP Original Programming and Production in a press statement.

The film’s script was written by Kate Lanier  and will be directed by Charles Stone III (Drumline, Paid In Full). Although Lopes perished in a car accident in Honduras in 2002, the remaining members will serve as consultants and executive producers of the films. Late last year, the surviving members also announced plans to record a new album as TLC.

Previously, MC Lyte spilled the beans about rapper Lil Mama’s casting, while Keke Palmer’s selection was revealed yesterday.  Crazy, Hot, Cool: The TLC Story is scheduled to begin shooting next month in Atlanta.

Can’t wait to see it! Please don’t be the typical hating people you normally are, let’s embrace this piece of work!
