It is truly Tamar Braxton’s season. Everywhere you look, everywhere you turn, you will definitely see something about the Singer/Reality TV star. After several attempts to get pregnant, the youngest Braxton finally conceived a child with her music mogul husband, Vince Herbert. After getting pregnant, she spent several months keeping her pregnancy a secret, while working her first single ‘Love & War’ to the top of the charts. Now, with 3 television shows (Braxton Family Values, Tamar & Vince, and Culture List), an upcoming album, and just weeks away from delivering her baby, one would think how in the world is she going to do it?
On one of her last stops before being pulled off the road to prepare for the delivery of the baby, I sat down with Tamar Braxton before she hosted ‘Cocktails & Conversations’ with 93.9 WKYS. Catching up with Tamar this time, we were able to talk about the sibling issues we have seen on this season of ‘Braxton Family Values’, the unexpected pregnancy, if Tiny revealed the sex of the baby, hiding her pregnancy, being prepared for Motherhood, and the delay of her ‘Love & War’ album! Plus find out which one of her sisters has been given her the “most” motherly advice.
Coming from a family that is rooted in the church and having recently taped ‘Celebration of Gospel’, I had to ask her what was her favorite genre of music too sing, because we all know they family have left their mark in the R&B field as well. When it comes to her favorite type of music, Tamar admits that it is “old school gospel” and has no problem scratching the bottom of her Louboutins to get her praise on.
