So I’m currently on vacation in Suriname loving every minute of my time in this beautiful country, and here’s why. It’s not that I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle that is Washington, DC. And no, I’m not on some party bus living it up in front of the cameras for Girls Gone Wild. I’m enjoying my time because I’ve been reevaluating my direction in life–what that looks like and how I can create it–all for the sake of living in a way that is conducive to the journey I’m on. This is quite thrilling! What’s more, my optimism is being matched with the proper management of my expectations; no pie in the sky schemes here! I’m nurturing my hopes and dreams, envisioning them with clarity, ready to pursue them with full intent and responsibility. To say I’m inspired would be an understatement.
