Water officials say they have found a way to repair a faulty water main in Prince George’s County that does not involve shutting off water to as many as 200,000 residents as had been planned.
Officials with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission said at a meeting Wednesday that the pipe can be repaired and full service can resume in 2-3 days without customers losing water, barring unexpected developments.
