Thousands of concerned citizens joined together to rally for justice in the case of Trayvon Martin. Despite what some would call defeat with the recent not guilt verdict, Trayvon’s parents have not stopped their fight. In fact, the two have remained strong and are taking their efforts to new levels. Today they led protest in two different states. Sabrina Fulton joined Rev. Al Sharpton, Jay Z, and Beyonce in New York City, while Tracy Martin spoke at the Miami rally. He said:
“We will do everything we can to make sure there’s change, that’s our promise to our son’s memory…..Trayvon could have been anyone’s child. That’s the message that’s being sent to the world.”
