Oh joy!!
When I first saw that Busta Rhymes and Q Tip had a song together, I immediately went to the early years of Hip Hop, when Busta Rhymes was apart of Leaders of The New School, and Q Tip was in A Tribe Called Quest. With that being said, their new collaboration for “Thank You” is phenomenal!!
The sample from Alicia Myers’ “I Wanna Thank You” puts you in the groove along with the lyrics of Busta and Q Tip. Although Kanye West and Lil Wayne are both credited for the song, their parts are not that big. What is big however, is the chemistry between Busta and Q Tip. The two still have it as if it was the early 90’s.
