If everything works out like The Bawse hopes too, he may just clean up financially in 2014 thanks to LMFAO!

According to THR, Rick Ross is suing LMFAO for copyright infringement, for lyrics from their song ‘Party Rock Anthem’.

Ross claims the song lyrics, “Everyday I’m Shuffling” is derived from his hit song, “Hustlin”.

“The use of ‘Hustlin’ in ‘Party Rock Anthem’ is readily apparent, despite the slight change from ‘Every day I’m hustlin” to ‘Every day I’m shufflin” and constitutes, inter alia, the creation of an unauthorized derivative work,” the lawsuit claims.

“The phrase is so important to the success of ‘Party Rock Anthem,’ that LMFAO launched a highly successful clothing line, Party Rock Clothing, that features the phrase on T-shirts and other clothing items,” the filing continues.

As of yet, LMFAO has yet to comment.

It’s no secret on the success of the song. Even if you didn’t know who LMFAO were, you were definitely familiar with the song from hearing it everywhere or even KIA using it in their car commercials. Something tells me Rozay was waiting for the right time to cash in on this one.
