Lupita Nyong’o Named As The New Face of Lancome
The checks will continue to roll in for Lupita Nyong’o. The Academy Award winner for ’12 Years A Slave’ has just been named the face of ‘Lancome’. The French cosmetic skincare company announced the news this morning, and said ads staring the Actress will roll out this September.
Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily, Lupita spoke on her involvement with the beauty brand.
“What appealed to me about Lancôme is that they’re not dictating what beauty is. Hopefully it’s a symbiotic relationship — that I benefit from being associated with them, and they benefit from being associated with me, as well. And for the consumer at large, I think Lancôme has a range of products for every woman, and I think having me will expand people’s understanding of, hopefully, what Lancôme stands for, who Lancôme is for.”
Lupita Nyong’o you ROCK!
