Okay so after waiting a few days to do so…Nicki Minaj decided to take to her Twitter account to address the milk shade of a speech that she gave at the 2014 BET Awards in which she spoke on the artists that don’t write their own lyrics the way that she does. Refresh your memory with a look at her speech below!
Nicki tried to say that the media put words into her mouth…yet she is the one that gave the speech LIVE and unedited on the BET stage. Check out what Ms. Minaj had to say in the tweets below!
It sounds to us like someone made her feel bad about what she said and she wanted to clean it up. In other words…either her team wanted her to smooth it over or she just had it weighing on her conscience.
While what she said was a little “mean girl” …it wasn’t completely Regina George. Honestly… this too shall pass.
We’re sure people will be on to the next “scandal” soon enough. However, we don’t agree that anyone put words into her mouth. She did that all on her own.
