Minnesota Vikings v Chicago Bears

Who is right, and who is wrong !?

There have been many opinions given about the way Minnesota Vikings running back, Adrian Peterson, punished his child.  Some say that “whopping” the child with a switch is child abuse, while others stand behind the discipline, saying they would be lost without it.  With opinions flying everywhere, and the Minnesota Vikings franchise losing supporters, they decided to reverse their decision, and place Peterson on the exempt/commissioner’s permission list; which means that he is suspended indefinitely.

Peterson was indicted in Montgomery County, Texas last week, on reckless or negligent injury to a child.  Being that Peterson is suspended indefinitely, the team is giving him time to work out his legal issues.

The Peterson incident came after a brutal week in football, involving the release of a video showing ex-Baltimore Ravens player, Ray Rice, striking his then fiance’ Janay Palmer.

So far, football athletes have been making headlines for their life off the field, instead of their performances on the field.
