Kendrick Lamar is already exceeding records that he set with his first album good kid, m.A.A.d city, and now he is topping the charts with his new album To Pimp A Butterfly.
The sophomore project from the TDE rapper is set to hit no. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart this week, after it sold a whopping 318,988 copies in its first week.
According to Hits Daily Double, the album will total 355,372 in sales, as it will also include the streams from the album. It is the first number one project for K. Dot, as his first album from 2012 debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard 200, and sold 242,000 copies in the first week.
