A Michigan man was pulled over in Inkster, Michigan by two cops, when he was taken out of his vehicle, brutally beaten, and even tasered by multiple officers.

According to Click On Detroit, footage was captured on the dash camera of the cop car from January 28th, showing Floyd Dent being dragged out of his car by one of the cops, placing him in a restraining chokehold, and striking him 16 times in the head for no apparent reason.

The partner of the officer attempts to place handcuffs on Dent, but finds difficulties as the man is being struck in the head by his fellow officer. A third cop arrives on the scene, who tasered Dent a total of three times in his stomach and leg.

Floyd Dent was later arrested after 10 cops arrived to the scene, and charged with resisting arrest, assault, and possession of cocaine, however, he has no criminal history during his 37 years of working at Ford.

Authorities reported that they pulled him over while “watching an area known to have drug activity,” and said that he “didn’t make a complete stop at a stop sign.”

The footage captured was presented to a judge, who threw out Dent’s charges of resisting arrest and assault. He still faces his charge of possession of cocaine.

Dent said in a statement, which became available today, on the incident, which read:

“I’m lucky to be living. I think they was trying to kill me, especially when they had choked me. I mean, I was on my last breath. I kept telling the officer, ‘Please, I can’t breathe.’”
