Lauriana Mae is for the children.
Meet Lauriana Mae, Atlantic Records’ latest secret weapon. The New Jersey native has been working her entire life to become a singer with her name in marquee lights, and after her 2013 “Only You” collaboration with Cee-Lo Green, those dreams are finally coming true.
On the heels of her City of Diamonds EP release, Lauriana headed down to SXSW with her band The Pains in tow. We caught up with the “Protect Ya Neck” artist to discuss her love for the Wu-Tang Clan, getting denied by an art school (which led her to singing), and serving Bon Jovi at a New Jersey restaurant.
City of Diamonds is available here. Find who Lauriana Mae really is in the video up top.
