Taylor Swift is a pretty big fan of hip-hop, and she’s never afraid to show it, as we’ve seen at most award shows. The Red singer recently won a Shorty Award for Best Singer this week, and her video acceptance speech was pretty epic. T-Swift sang Young Buck‘s “Shorty Wanna Ride” in honor of the awards show’s title, and you have to watch as she sings the hook. [MTV]

Fabolous‘ freestyle game has been impeccable in recent weeks, and he’s given his fans another one of his “Freestyle Friday” cyphers. The “Breathe” rapper did his newest freestyle to The LOX‘s “All For The Love,” and it’s safe to say it matches up to all of his other untouchable verses that he’s been putting out with DJ Clue. Dej Loaf is certainly making a bigger and bigger name for herself, but she’s still pretty humble when it comes to working with hip-hop veterans. The Detroit MC recently spoke about working on the “Me U & Hennessy” remix with Lil Wayne, where she explains hearing his verse. She recalled, “I was going crazy. I was like, ‘Wow, he really did it. This crazy.’ I knew he was going to do it just the way he did it.” [HipHopDX]

Frank Ocean seems like such a natural name for us to call him, even though it’s just the singer’s stage name, but it looks like he’s making it easier for everyone now. The Channel Orange crooner has officially changed his legal name to Frank Ocean, as it was Christopher Edwin Breaux in the past. [Rap-Up]
