Childish Gambino Will Return With A New Album

Earlier this year, it looked like the Childish Gambino story had come to an end. Donald Glover told Today that although he wasn’t going to completely separate himself from music, “Childish Gambino is a period that should come to a close.”

Well, it looks like he gave the idea a second thought. Gambino is working on new material. Aaron M Gutierrez was a member of a 50-person choir that Gambino did a session with. He leaked the news in since-deleted tweets compiled by Reddit.

So does that main there will be a new Gambino album this year? Perhaps. His last full length was 2012’s Because The Internet, and last year, he released the Kauai EP and STN MTN mixtape.
