Investigators will suggest that Caitlyn Jenner face a vehicular manslaughter charge for her participation in a deadly car accident back in February, according to reports.

The accident happened in Malibu. Jenner allegedly rear-ended a Lexus, pushing it into oncoming traffic where it was then struck by a Hummer. Kim Howe, the 69-year-old driver, was killed, and five children and two adults were hospitalized.

The Associate Press reports that investigators found that Jenner was driving “unsafe for the prevailing road conditions.”

The district attorney will determine what charges Jenner will face, but if convicted he could face up to a year in county jail.

“My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident,” Jenner said in a statement one day after the accident. “It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”
