Jerrod Carmichael Makes Filming Police Brutality Easier
Jerrod Carmichael Makes Filming Police Brutality Easier With A New Phone
For all its hype, the iPhone 6s still doesn’t have apps to protect African-Americans from corrupt cops. Luckily, Jerrod Carmichael has you covered.
Funny or Die struck gold again by bringing along Carmichael for a skit that introduces B-Mobile, which one-ups T-Mobile with the introduction of the Onyx smartphone. The new gadget comes with potentially life-saving features: Badge number recognition software, the ability to call the police on the police as you’re filming the police, and Skype that specializes in connecting to Anderson Cooper (while still saving battery). As you’d guess, the featured family (led by Jay Jackson, best known as Parks and Recreation‘s Perd) is more than interested.
It’s a brilliant skit and Carmichael has more of that sort of brilliance featured on his NBC sitcom. After a short, six-episode run, The Carmichael Show will return for a second season.
