“The Bachelor” Season 14 Contestant Lex McAllister Dead After Apparent Suicide
Alexa “Lex” McAllister, former contest on ABC’s hit reality show, The Bachelor, has died. The Columbus, Ohio native was found Saturday afternoon after reportedly overdosing on prescription pills, TMZ reports. McAllister’s family took her off life support Tuesday morning. She was 31 years old.
McAllister, who appeared on the 14th season of The Bachelor in 2010, had a history of battling depression and bipolar disorder. Gia Allemand, a cast member from the same season, also committed suicide in 2013.
