The girl scouts are NOT happy with Chris Rock and his Oscars stunt! Though the awards show host declared he helped raise more than 65,000 dollars for the childrens organization, the Girl Scouts claim they havent seen a dime!

There’s still no check in the mail.

The New York Daily News says the girl scout troop that sold an alleged $65,000 in cookies at the Oscars last month still hasn’t received a dime.

Many hailed 2016 Oscars host Chris Rock father of the year. From the biggest stage on the industry’s biggest night, Rock called on Hollywood stars and executives to buy girl scout cookies from his daughters’ troop.

The host called out Tina Fey, Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio—who made $30 million last year, Rock announced.

Later in the broadcast, the comedian said that the deep-pocketed audience purchased $65,243 of cookies. But, where’s the money?

Latoya Edwards, the mother of a troop member, told TMZ that something isn’t right.

She said the National Girl Scout Council told them the Academy would donate the money to the Greater L.A. Council. When contacted, the Girl Scouts of America told the site:

“The donation process is determined by local councils.”

But the Greater L.A. Council has no answers, Edwards told them. Meanwhile, the Academy has not responded to calls.

In any event, Edwards explained that the local troop would receive only $1,000 of the money. She believes the girls were exploited in a public relations stunt, says TMZ.
