Roscoe’s Chicken N Waffles Declared Bankruptcy!
The infamous east coast restaurant filed for bankruptcy from owing over $3 million to a former employee.
Daniel Beasley (African- American), a former Roscoe’s employee, accused a manager of discriminating against the African-American employees. He believes he was fired for bringing the issue to human resources, which lead him into suing the company.
So what does that mean for the popularized east coast chain restaurant? Roscoe’s, owned by East Coast Foods Inc, filed for Chapter 11 citing about $50 million in debt, with $50,000 worth of assets. Basically, they are doing what 50 Cent did; filing to get his finances in order.
All 7 of the Cali locations will remain open. They are NOT going out of business. We love chicken too much to let that happen.
