Nicki Minaj’s Brother Allegedly Indicted On Charges Of Child Rape

After a month of deliberations, a grand jury reportedly indicted Nicki Minaj‘s older brother, Jelani Maraj for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl.
The unidentified victim accused the 37-year-old of sexually assaulting her including the day before his arrest on December 1, 2015. Nicki reportedly posted the 100K bond. According to court documents, the Young Money rapper also put up two of her homes in New York as collateral.
Here are the details of Maraj’s latest legal issues as reported by Bossip:
He’s facing a top charge of felony predatory sexual assault against a child, along with felony sexual conduct against a child under age 13, sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child. [Maraj] could get 15 years to life on the top charge alone.
Maraj is being represented by attorneys Benjamin Brafman and Andrea Zellan. He along with his mother appeared in the sex crimes division of Nassau County Court on April 4. Jelani pled not guilty and was released for a second time on $100K bond.
